  • Description
An elegant goblet or egg-shaped form, reflecting the refinement of classic tulips. It was a “Bizarre” type: characterized by contrasting bright stripes, feathers, or flames (e.g., red, white) on a dark (purple, deep red) or white/pale yellow base. This created a dramatic, marbled or feathered, spectacular effect. Each flower was a unique work of art, with patterns that were unpredictable and irreproducible, which was the core of its scarcity and value.
